Welcome to 3Lance Audit Solutions, founded by Ben, an ACA qualified professional with over 13 years experience in External Audit and Transaction Services. At 3Lance Audit Solutions, we are committed to delivering top tier audits as required by our clients.
With a diverse background spanning industries including hospitality, shipping, retail, construction, tech and exploration, Ben has conducted and overseen audits for small private clients reporting under local GAAP but specialises in those listed on major stock exchanges including AIM, ASX and the TSX.
At 3Lance audit solutions, we recognize the persistent staffing constraints faced by mid-tier audit firms, particularly at the qualified senior and manager level. Our mission is to address this challenge by providing a high quality audit service, leveraging the expertise of top talent from the global audit pool. Typical 3Lance Audit Solutions Process
3Lance Audit Solutions will perform scoping assessments including, but not limited to
High level reviews of the prior year financial statements;
Discussions with management and the audit partner
Other external research on the clients activities and operations in the year (review of board minutes/RNS releases if listed)
Based on the initial risk assessment findings at planning, 3Lance Audit Solutions will prepare a budget for the job which will be presented to the Audit Partner
Once the budget has been approved by the Audit Partner, it will be submitted to the client for approval. At this point, the contract between 3Lance audit solutions and the audit firm will be signed
The 3Lance Audit Solutions Senior, with close oversight from the Manager, will complete the remainder of planning in ine with the required ISA’s, discussing key matters with the Partner to ensure the audit is being completed to the required standard.
Once planning has been signed off the Audit Senior will complete Fieldwork which will be reviewed by the Manager.
The relevant completion work including accounts review and checklists will be completed by the 3Lance Audit Solutions Senior, with close oversight from the Manager, ready for sign off by the partner.
At 3Lance Audit Solutions, our priority focus is audit quality and the Qualified Senior and Manager will work closely at all times throughout the audit.
3Lance Audit Solutions will prepare detailed schedules including details on any client delays/additional information that may result in overruns. This will be presented to the Partner/client for discussion during the completion phase of the audit.
